General Inquiries

The tour begins and ends in Akaroa. Pick up is outside the Old Post Office opposite the BNZ and information centre.

Always bring with you a warm jersey or windproof jacket, a sunhat, sunglasses and walking shoes. Bring your camera and plenty of questions!

Cancellations made by the tour operator for any reason, 100% refund. 

Individual booking one or two people: Full payment to secure booking. Fully refundable within one week of departure (less 5% administration fees). 50% refund within 48 hours of departure. No refund for no show or within 48 hours.

Group booking of more than two people: Full payment to secure booking, 10% non-refundable. Cancellations can be made 7 days before departure.

No cancellations for ‘acts of war’ or for ‘acts of God’ 

The 2 and 3-hour tours have short walks on flat ground, over shingle or grass. There are 4 stops where we get out of the vehicle. One stop with two steps. I have a step to help people in and out of the van. The tour is adjustable for fitness. Please get in touch to inquire.

No! But walking tours can be arranged, either for large groups or more active travelers. Guided walks through Hinewai Reserve can be arranged.

The 2-hour and 3-hour tours are driving tours in a van with 9 passenger seats. These tours access hard to reach places in areas with small turnaround areas, gravel roads, or hidden gems.

To listen to incredable stories, be awed by beautiful places, be uplifted by our love of place and space. We hope you may leave asking ‘what can I do?’
